Change music tempo & BPM
Slow down difficult sections or practice at your preferred speed. After separating your audio, adjust its tempo in the OFFON AI editor.
How to change tempo
- Upload audio on the home screen and wait for vocal and instrumental separation.
- Open Speed and set a speed ratio or target BPM. The supported speed range is 0.50× to 2.00×.
- Play the result, then download Music, Vocals or Mix. Your chosen speed also applies to the downloaded file.
Speed ratio and BPM
A speed ratio is relative to the original speed; BPM means beats per minute. If the original is 120 BPM, 0.75× corresponds to 90 BPM. Changing speed also changes playback duration.
The BPM above the tracks is an automatic estimate. If it is incorrect, check and edit the original BPM before setting a target.
Change speed while keeping pitch
Tempo and pitch can be adjusted separately. Leave Key at 0 to retain the original pitch. To suit your vocal range, see pitch adjustment.
Free editing and downloads
Tempo adjustment is free. Free separation allows 2 songs and 10 minutes total per day. Editing and downloading completed tracks doesn't use additional allowance. Save as MP3, WAV or FLAC.
