Change song key & pitch
Raise or lower your backing track to suit your vocal range. After separating vocals and music, change pitch while keeping the tempo.
How to change pitch
- Upload audio on the home screen. The editor opens when AI separation finishes.
- Use − and + under Key to adjust by semitones. −2 lowers pitch by two semitones; +2 raises it by two.
- Mute Vocals to preview just the instrumental. Download Music to save the backing track with your new pitch.
Keep speed and duration
Leave Speed at 1.00× to retain the original tempo and duration while changing only pitch. You can also adjust tempo for slower practice.
Return to the original pitch
Click the pitch value to reset it to 0. The musical key shown above the tracks is estimated from the original audio. The pitch adjustment shows how many semitones you raised or lowered it.
Free editing and downloads
Pitch adjustment is free. Free separation allows 2 songs and 10 minutes total per day. Download adjusted tracks as MP3, WAV or FLAC. Editing and downloading completed audio doesn't use additional allowance.
